Once you have made your decision to sign off you must begin your planning of how you are going to get “the right job”. It is never too early to plan, it does not mean you have to start your activities but it gives you focus, encourages you to think laterally and innovatively and also gives you / your family comfort that you know when you are doing what!
The plan does not have to be overly complicated but identify key activities, when you need to do them, challenges, obstacles, opportunities and importantly key milestones. For example when to start networking, when to apply for roles and when you aim to go on some training courses.
